Cyber Bullying

Cyber Bullying, particularly cyber bullying on the internet, has quickly become a hot topic within education as schools scramble to put in place some form of prevention programming, both to monitor children's social online practices and educate in terms of engaging in, and responding to cyber bullying.

Zark Surveys Cyber Bullying Program

Zark Surveys offer a way of resourcing and educating schools in how to assess, monitor and reduce bullying (including cyber bullying) in schools. Through their range of student surveys, teachers can receive a detailed synopsis of how prevalent bullying (and cyber bullying) is across a range of age groups and demograhics within the student population. Registration to Zark Surveys is free, and a user may run any number of surveys with a student body. Survey Analysis of student results is performed online, and reported to the user. At the time of writing this review, analysis costs $1 AUD per student.

Once the survey findings have been assessed, should a school need help in the form of additional programming and education, Zark Consultancy offer a wide body of programs within schools to assist in meeting a range of social needs.

As number of schools use this service to monitor career and transition issues already, it is expected that the Health and Wellbeing Survey (bullying and cyber bullying survey) will be well received.
